These include food services, reception, maintenance and cleaning, to facilities and equipment management, in-home assistance, child care centres, concierge services and much more.
As technology becomes increasingly present in everyday life, Sodexo is reinforcing its use of analytics and data to respond to the evolving needs of its clients and consumers, providing more innovative concepts and solutions. As Sodexo is increasingly integrating digital solutions into client offers, this partnership will enable Sodexo to enhance quality of life on a larger scale.
Microsoft’s Jean-Philippe Courtois states that “Our partnership with Sodexo offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate towards bespoke cloud solutions based on real-life deployments in the services sector. I look forward to working alongside Sodexo to build a platform that inspires digital innovation among their global workforce, ultimately enhancing their customer offering and capabilities.”
Developed with Microsoft Consulting Services, Sodexo’s integrated services platform will enable intelligent buildings and facilities for its users, powered by Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, AI, IoT and other Microsoft cloud technologies. Importantly, Azure will provide an agile technology environment for new developments and innovations using trusted infrastructure, AI and data solutions.
This unique platform will deliver new value and benefits to Sodexo employees, clients and consumers by powering exceptional workplace experiences and organizational efficiency, on a global scale. The offer is launched initially in North America, and will expand to Europe and other regions over time.
Hundreds of thousands of Sodexo’s front-line workers will benefit from Microsoft solutions such as Office 365 to enhance schedule and task management, communications, training and onboarding. These tools respond to changing work habits, allowing users the flexibility to connect, manage, follow and delegate projects from their desks and on the go.
Sodexo’s success and performance are founded on its independence, its sustainable business model and its ability to continuously develop and engage employees throughout the world. Sodexo’s Denis Machuel states that “Signing this global partnership with Microsoft is another step forward in Sodexo’s digital transformation. By combining the know-how of two leading industrial brands, Sodexo will ignite a new chapter of service, productivity and growth.”
