SINGAPORE, April 23, 2014 – Microsoft today announced two new leaders to its regional marketing team – Justin Spelhaug has been appointed the new APAC Marketing & Operations (M&O) Leader, while Corinne Monty is the new Central Marketing Organization (CMO) Director for the region.
As the APAC M&O Leader, Justin will lead all marketing activities and operations for Microsoft across Asia-Pacific. He will execute the company’s renewed vision across the region, with a focus on delivering “mobile first, cloud first” solutions, through Microsoft’s unmatched breadth of devices and services for both consumers and businesses. Corinne will report directly to Justin and be responsible for marketing communications strategy and execution in Asia Pacific, as well as driving marketing innovation and operational excellence.

A Microsoft veteran of 16 years, Justin was most recently the General Manager of the Operations Service Group, where he led a team charged with defining new operating models, capabilities and managing launch processes across all of Microsoft’s products and services, including Office 365, Azure and Surface.
Prior to that role, Justin was the Senior Director of Business Development and Strategy in Microsoft’s Start-up Business Group where he helped to launch multiple start-ups and delivered low-cost computing solutions to emerging markets. He has also held leadership roles in Asia as Senior Director of Marketing & Operations for Asia Pacific and as a business development leader.
Corinne joins Microsoft Asia Pacific from the Global Marketing Operations organization, where she led the Sales & Marketing Service Centers. She has more than 20 years of experience at Microsoft with positions across multiple marketing disciplines.
