Learning Possibilities to roll out first full Learning Management System on Office 365 to modernize education in Asia Pacific

SINGAPORE, 15 April 2016 — Microsoft and partner Learning Possibilities, UK’s leading cloud based learning platform provider, have today announced an alliance to roll out the first fully featured Learning Management System on Office 365, LP+365, in Asia Pacific. This will enable educators and students to create and share in entirely new ways for more immersive and inclusive learning experiences.

The LP+365 app by Learning Possibilities provides an intuitive user interface, personalized dashboard and various collaboration and assignment tools. This leverages the Office 365 cloud solution to aid classroom collaborations and assessments engaging users to ensure a deeper learning.

Teachers can add announcements, load resources and set assignments at a click of a button, while students can see their daily calendar, assigned homework, previous submissions, their particular class/subject sites and curriculum material – all neatly organized and easily accessible. This includes instant access to favorite Office365 Apps like Word, Class Notebook, PowerPoint and etc.

The Asia Pacific roll out follows the signing of a global agreement between Learning Possibilities and Microsoft in December 2015. The regional deployment, support and training will commence in Bangladesh, Brunei, the Philippines, Nepal, Maldives and Sri Lanka through Microsoft partner Tech One Global.

The deployment of LP+365 is shortly starting at Wesley College in Sri Lanka, where the college is planning to utilize the LMS to improve collaboration in the classroom with greater learner engagement driving educational performance and development of 21st century skills essential for employment.

LP+365 is available as both a Free classroom App and a Paid school App in the Microsoft Office Store.
