Microsoft appoints a new leader in Indonesia to help customers accelerate Digital Transformation

Microsoft today announced the appointment of Haris Izmee as its new President for Indonesia. He brings nearly 20 years of business experience and vast industry knowledge to drive the company’s mission in Indonesia.

Haris joins Microsoft from General Electric Healthcare (GEHC) Indonesia where he was Country Manager and Director. During his tenure, he successfully expanded the healthcare business, making it one of GE’s largest businesses today. Prior to GEHC, he led sales of all commercial aircraft engines as the Senior Sales Director at GE Aviation, and was instrumental in winning some of the largest projects in the history of the company in Indonesia.

At Microsoft, Haris will be responsible for the company’s products, services and support offerings in Indonesia, and more importantly, for accelerating the company’s current transformation to be the leading productivity and platform company.

Haris graduated from Queen Mary University of London with a Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
