DHAKA, Bangladesh – November 30, 2022 – BRAC Bank, a leading commercial bank in Bangladesh and the market leader in financing small and medium enterprises, has signed a Microsoft Products and Services Agreement (MPSA) with Licensing Solution Partner Thakral One to modernize employee experience and enhance customer service.
The agreement was signed at the BRAC Head Office in Dhaka, in the presence of Md. Sabbir Hossain, deputy managing director & chief operating officer and Nurun Nahar Begum, chief technology officer from BRAC Bank. Also in attendance were Basab Bagchi, chief executive officer at Thakral One, Sook Hoon Cheah, general manager, Microsoft SEA New Markets and Yousup Faruqu, country managing director, Microsoft Bhutan, Bangladesh & Nepal.

As a Microsoft Licensing Solution Partner, Thakral One will provide the bank with Microsoft services, applications and leading-edge solutions to empower employees to deliver successful outcomes and build a more personalized experience across customer touchpoints.

In a digital age, multi-factor authentication will protect the bank against various online threats, adding an extra layer of security while the use of active directory, M365 enterprise apps and Teams will increase efficiency and shorten lead times across BRAC Bank branches, ultimately benefiting the bank’s customers.
