Dharma Simorangkir
President Director, Microsoft Indonesia
As the President Director of Microsoft Indonesia, Dharma is responsible for accelerating Indonesia’s digital transformation through cloud adoption, helping businesses in Indonesia build their resilience and digital skills, and empowering digital-first companies and start-ups with the tools to scale their innovation.
Before Microsoft, he was the Senior Vice President Enterprise of Telkomsel, where he successfully grew the business by focusing on customer needs and transformed the organization by building a team mindset. He also used to hold leadership positions at Honeywell, Ericsson, Nokia Siemens Networks, Huawei, and co-founded a mobile digital start-up.
With 20 years of business experience and vast industry knowledge, Dharma will be advancing growth and digital acceleration for Indonesia, its developer and start-up ecosystem, enterprise businesses, small to medium enterprises, the public sector, and crucial industry vertical sectors, hence enabling Indonesia to become Digital Indonesia.
Dharma graduated from University of Brawijaya with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and has a Master of Business Administration from IPMI International Business School. In his spare time, he loves to spend quality time with his family, play basketball, and music instruments.
