Rachel Bondi

Regional Vice President, Small, Medium and Corporate, Microsoft Asia

Rachel Bondi is Vice President of Small, Medium, and Corporate (SMC) at Microsoft, responsible for driving strategy and execution to help SMC customers and partners achieve more across Asia. This role follows Rachel’s previous work as the Chief Partner Officer in Australia, focused on driving growth and innovations through Microsoft’s world-class partner ecosystem to deliver digital transformation for customers across Microsoft’s cloud platforms. Prior to this, Rachel was the Marketing & Operations Director for Microsoft in Australia. As part of that role, she was also responsible for the Small and Medium Business including supporting customer’s success by continuing to build a world-class digital and marketing organisation to capture the immense growth opportunity within Australia’s SMB market.

Rachel Bondi began her career at Microsoft in the Australia subsidiary as a partner account manager and moved to the Microsoft headquarter team in 1999. She earned her Bill Gates Chairman’s Award in 2001 and held several senior leadership roles in the Corporate Marketing team during her time in the US. Rachel is a Member of Champions of Change – Microsoft Partners which was established in 2020 in partnership with Microsoft Australia. The group is committed to building flexible workplaces and developing innovative approaches to attracting and retaining women in the technology sector.

Rachel is a Director on the Board of the Digital Skills Organisation (DSO) driving systemic impact across Australia’s workforce and ultimately accelerating growth across the economy. Rachel holds a degree in education from the University of Queensland, and lives in Sydney with her husband and two daughters.
