Steven Miller
Chief Operating Officer, Microsoft Asia
As the Chief Operating Officer, Steven leads the Sales Enablement and Operations (SE&O) teams across the region and is responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategies across the full range of Microsoft products and services in the region, including business operations and long-term planning initiatives.
Steven joined Microsoft in 2007 and across various roles has supported the success of customers and partners. He is a champion of innovation, inclusion and connected ecosystems as a driver of growth and opportunity within rapidly transforming segments and industries. Steven’s roles have included Marketing and Operations Director for Microsoft in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), leader of the Small, Medium and Corporate business ANZ, Director of Education Australia, and leader of the Small and Medium Business segment, the Office Business Group, and Business Planning and Operations teams in Australia.
Across his career, Steven has held leadership roles in the technology industry for over 25 years. He is passionate about connecting people to purpose as a path to delivering impactful outcomes for customers, partners and communities. At Microsoft, this stems from Steven’s deep belief in the company’s mission, seeing it as a platform for every employee to do meaningful work that unlocks growth and opportunity across Asia.
Originally from Scotland, Steven is based in Sydney, Australia. He holds a Double Honours Degree in Marketing and Organisational Behaviour, and a Master of Accounting.
